PROGRAM
CineCampus includes 4 months of training, with online and residential sessions aimed at making 5 short films. Meetings with experts in the social, anthropological and environmental fields and in-depth workshops on protocols linked to green production.
STEP 1
Call to artists
Deadline: 20 APRIL 2024
The call is open for all artists and cinema professionals under 35, without nationality or residence criteria. All candidates will be valued on the basis of the the specific requested documentation.
STEP 2
E-learning session
JUNE/AUGUST 2024
A series of online meetings will take place between June and August, to allow the group of participants to get to know each other. Also the online tutoring will begin with workshops on cinematic language (writing, production, direction, cinematography, sound, editing) and meetings with local experts to allow the participants to get to know Abruzzo’s territory, its nature and history. During this phase we will form the 5 working pairs of participants.
STEP 3
Artists in residence
SEPTEMBER 2024
The art residency will last 28 days. All participants will be hosted in Forme di Massa D’Albe, Abruzzo. They will be supported by tutors and an artistic and technical crew during the realization of their short movies, during three different phases of work: writing, production and postproduction.
STEP 4
Post-production
OCTOBER/DECEMBER 2024
The post-production of the works (color correction and sound mixing services, graphics, creation of DCP) will take place in professional studios, between October and December, with audiovisual professionals.
STEP 5
Promotion and Distribution
Timing: SPRING 2025
The short movies produced will be distributed by Red Couch Pictures and all the directors will benefit from the innovative online database and streaming service of the distribution company. All movies will be shown in national and international festivals, to promote in a natural and inclusive way Abruzzo’s territory all over the world.
