A project to foster visual awareness, creativity, and a connection to the local community.

An educational and immersive program, designed for all age groups, that brought the
language of cinema into the classroom, combining screenings, creative workshops, sensory
experiences, and innovative tools.
Each activity was tailored to the students’ grade level to respect and enhance the
different ages and sensibilities.

THE PROJECT

CinemAbruzzo Kids & Teens is an innovative educational project, designed to offer students an immersive experience in the world of cinema, combining an in-depth theoretical approach with practical activities.

Building on the experience gained by CinemAbruzzo, this initiative aims to engage schools in exploring the many artistic and technical dimensions of the language of cinema. The project also seeks to highlight the extraordinary narrative potential of the Abruzzo region, transforming it into a creative laboratory capable of inspiring young talent and promoting new forms of expression related to audiovisual culture.

THE SCHOOLS

The project actively involved 45 schools in the Marsica region, transforming classrooms and students into the true protagonists of a unique educational experience. Through workshops, meetings, and original productions, the program combined visual literacy, active citizenship, and a rediscovery of the local area, with an eye toward the languages of the future.
